Whale Sharks by Air Tour

This tour starts from Cozumel Airport at 7 am. Getting to the airport is easy from anywhere in the Riviera Maya.  

The tour takes off with a scenic flight over the coasts of Yucatan Peninsula in a small aircraft. You will fly low enough to enjoy spectacular views!
After having landed on Holbox’s small airstrip you will be transferred to a fast boat for an unforgettable whale shark tour.  The 4 hour whale shark tour includes experienced multilingual guides, plenty of time to have a close encounter with these amazing creatures, snorkel equipment, drinking water and lunch.  

After the boat tour, you will return to Holbox Island for your flight back to Cozumel Airport. The tour ends at around 2 pm.

Classic Holbox Day Tour:

You will be picked up from your hotel early in the morning and drive to Holbox Island from where the ultimate whale shark experience begins. The 5 hour tour includes a fast boat, experienced multilingual guides, plenty of time to have a close encounter with these amazing creatures, snorkel equipment, and lunch at the beach. After the tour you will return to the mainland and drive back to you hotel.

We recommend this tour over the Express Tour; the Classic Holbox Day Tour offers you more time to find and swim with the whale sharks.

Pick up from Riviera Maya, Playa del Carmen or Cancun.
Full day tour starting at 4 am, return 6 pm.

This tour leaves from Holbox Island. We can arrange your hotel and transfer to and from Holbox Island!

You will enjoy an amazing whale shark tour including unlimited time to find and

swim with the whale sharks, 1 hour of reef snorkel and a stop at the river to see an abundance of marine birds. Snorkel equipment, experienced multilingual guides, drinking water and lunch are included in the tour.

Pick up from your Holbox hotel tour starting at 7 am, return 12:30 pm.
