After being picked up from your hotel, you will arrive to Tulum archaeological site. Enjoy a guided tour of the fascinating history and special significance of this Mayan fortress city. Tulum is a Pre-Columbian Maya site constructed during the post classic period of the ancient Maya. The ruins are located on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea and one finds stunning white sand beaches within and around the ruins. Tulum is the largest and best-preserved Maya site on the coasts of the Yucatan Peninsula. Its beautiful setting makes the ruins a must for any visit to the Riviera Maya. You will have more then an hour to learn about this amazing site while enjoying the breathtaking view.

We will then take you to Tulum town for a refreshing snack before continuing to the action part of the tour. A short drive takes us to the jungle site where all the action takes place. You will start off with a 40 minutes bike ride through Mayan farmlands where you will enjoy the surrounding jungle scenery and learn about local subsistence farming.
Upon arrival to the rest area you will enjoy a refreshing drink while your guide gives you a briefing on the cenotes and zip line adventure ahead.

Continue to the beautiful Xta-Bay cenote where you can jump in for a refreshing swim. Afterwards, you will snorkel in the crystalline waters of the Chikin-Ha cenote surrounded by amazing rock formations, stalagmites and stalactites.
Your cenote journey ends in the mystic dry cave of the legendary Aluxes where you will witness a traditional Maya purification ceremony and learn of the religious and cultural importance of the cenotes to the Maya people.

 

Then you will set out on a flight over the jungle's foliage and cenotes on a series of the 3 most thrilling zip-lines of Yucatan Peninsula, the last zip-line being 17 meters high and 160 meters long!
After a delicious traditional meal, cooked by Mayan women, you will return to the bike station where the tour ends for your departure back to the hotel.
