The Tour

Your guide will welcome you upon arrival to Cozumel. On board of a comfortable A/C vehicle your guide will drive you around the island, take you snorkeling at the best spots or guide you at the Mayan Ruins of San Gervacio and show you the island's unique beauties.

Punta Sur Eco Park
After a scenic ride over the coastal road that leads south from town you will arrive to Punta Sur Eco Park. The reserve protects over a thousand hectares (2471 acres) of coastal dunes, mangroves, reefs, lagoon systems and the most stunning beaches of the Mexican Caribbean. You will visit the small Caracol ruin, constructed by the ancient Maya to alert them for hurricanes. You will also get the chance to see crocodiles from a wooden pier build on the shores of the Colombia Lagoon. Climb the watchtower for a better view over the lagoon and its bird island. We then continue on to the light house which offers even more amazing views over the island. In addition you can visit the museum on marine history.

Snorkling
A special park vehicle will bring us to the beach area. The park protects 2 kilometers (1.5 miles) of powder white sand beaches; one of the most beautiful and tropical sights available in the Caribbean. Snorkeling on Cozumel offers some of the best coral reefs right from shore. You will be amazed with colorful marine life such as corals, aquatic plants, fish, reef creatures and sometime even turtles! Your guide will choose the ideal reef to snorkel at depending on your snorkel experience and weather conditions. Before going out to the reef you will receive the necessary snorkeling instructions. If you are not into aquatic activities, you may exchange snorkeling for a guided visit to San Gervacio Mayan ruins

Time to eat!!
Back at the beach it is time to relax, kick back and enjoy a light lunch.

Enjoying Cozumel
After leaving the Eco Park you will continue to drive around the island over the east side of Cozumel. You may pause as often as you wish to take pictures or simply enjoy the spectacular views over the Caribbean Sea. We then drive back to the downtown area where we leave the vehicle and you are free to stay a while longer before taking the ferry back to Playa del Carmen.

*If snorkeling conditions are better elsewhere on the island, we will first do the snorkeling activity and then visit Faro Celarain Eco Park.
**You may stay longer at the activities; latest return to downtown is at 6 pm.
