Important Information

Every Duende tour involves physical activities such as hiking, off road cycling, canoeing or camping. Therefore participants in Duende Tours must be in good physical health. Participants take full responsibility for their physical state and agree to inform Duende Tours of any special health conditions before departure.

All participants in Duende Tours must have valid travel insurance. The policy should cover medical expenses and emergency repatriation as a minimum. Upon arrival, your guide will ask you for the name of the insurance company, your policy number and 24 hour emergency telephone number provided by the insurance company. If you have trouble finding a good travel insurance company, Duende Tours can recommend one to you.

Border fees and visas are not included in the tour price. It is the participant's own responsibility to possess the correct documents at the time of traveling. If you are not sure what documents you need please contact us.

Payment: Duende Tour reservations are not confirmed until 25% of the tour price has been received. The customer needs to pay the whole sum at least 60 days before departure, otherwise the reservation will be cancelled. With bookings made within 60 days of departure the total sum needs to be paid at once.

Minimum age for participants is 18 years old. Children of 14 and over can join the tour accompanied by an adult who is responsible for that child.

Meals are included in the tour where restaurants are not available; this is often the case on overnight jungle tours. Look at the included list on each tour description to find out how many meals are included in the tour of your choice.
